All the big businesses online are looking for affiliates to help them sell their products. The only requirement is an internet connection. For instance, amazon has an associate program and you can earn a certain percentage when people buy something on amazon through you.
How can you become an affiliate? Some businesses make it easy for anyone to sign up for their affiliate programs. Look for a ‘join’ or ‘earn money’ button at the bottom of a business website that sells consumer goods. One good example is Amazon.com’s “join associates” link at the bottom of any page on there.
Other companies only divulge their affiliate programs through marketing networks like commission junction (www.cj.com), Share a Sale (www.shareasale.com) or clickbank (www.clickbank.com).. These are full of publishers, web masters and businesses hoping to make money as a team. Try these places on for size. This is your chance to find products that you can promote. If you’re a bookworm, promote books. If you’re a sports fan, go for sports gear.
